Budgets are the cornerstone of plans against which current situation can be measured and then modified so that future situation could be better. For that purpose budget can be done on yearly, quarterly and even monthly basis. If budgets are plans, reports are the gauges showing you where things are going and how. There’s a whole range of reports that can be customized further to get this picture very clearly. Whether it is to find where the most expenses are or who the biggest creditor is it is easy to find out.
